When I speak at a church or leadership event, I occasionally ask the leadership to provide an written endorsement, if they’re willing to. Here are a few speaking endorsements from some recent speaking engagements of mine.
[stextbox id=”custom” caption=”Pastor Sam Farlow, Columbia Heights Baptist Church, Boise, ID”]Our church found Charles messages to be well organized, Biblically contemplative, in depth, and seeking to be consistent with the truth of the text. He had obviously spent time meditating upon the text in an attempt to discern the writers main intent and was clearly willing to research word etymologies in order to best perceive latent innuendos in each passage. His illustrations were pertinent and revealing as well. One man even said afterward he was ready to give Charles a standing ovation.[/stextbox]
[stextbox id=”custom” caption=”Pastor Dave Parker, Riverpark Bible Church, Fresno, CA”]Charles is a careful ‘hearer of the Word.’ He is an excellent teacher of the Word. He is a leader of people and he has his family in order. What separates Charles from so many is that he is also a ‘doer of the Word.’ If you want to see what a disciple-making disciple looks like, follow Charles Specht around for a while.[/stextbox]
[stextbox id=”custom” caption=”Kevin Schoonhoven, Previous Pastor of Faith Bible Church, Merced, CA”]Preaching and leading with power is a function of spirit-empowered living out what you believe. During over 4 years of co-laboring with Charles, I saw a 100% commitment to and follow-through on a lifestyle of personal godliness that adorned the doctrine he professed. In Charles you have a wonderful blend of uncompromising commitment to truth that is both tender and teachable. It was a joy to serve with him and I thank God for his ongoing love for God’s flock.[/stextbox]
[stextbox id=”custom” caption=”Pastor Dick Connors, First Baptist Church of Ceres, Ceres, CA”]It was a pleasure, not to mention a comfort, to return back to my church after a week away from the pulpit and learn that Charles Specht had been well received by our congregation. Several of my leaders mentioned how well and faithfully he had handled the Word and more than one church member spoke to me about the good ministry he had with them. Thank you Charles; you’re now on my short list for pulpit supply![/stextbox]
